Tsubasa Masuwaka is a Japanese Model who is the founder of the Dolly Wink brand. I have heard many great things about this brand, in particular the eyeliner. I have not tried anything else from this brand but would love to try their eyelashes in the future.

My thoughts: I have been using this eyeliner for a year and I cannot find an eyeliner that can replace this. The tip is so thin, I used this to line my eye and it is perfect to use for the winged eyeliner style. Honestly, this eyeliner stays on for such a long time. Even after a day out in London or Hong Kong, the eyeliner is still there by the near end of the day. I love this eyeliner, it is so long lasting! It is not like what I have tried before, once applied the eyeliner dries very quickly and does not smudge at all. The only bad thing that I can say is this eyeliner is hard to get hold of in the UK, unless you want to pay double the price.

Cons:

• Packaging can be dangerous when opened.
• Hard to get hold of in the UK.

Pros:

• Reasonable price
• Very long lasting
• Does not smudge

Review: Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack

Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack

I have recently been attracted to sleeping packs, they are easy to apply and I prefer having a light layer of product on my face, rather than a the usual face masks where the material can sometimes feel sufficating on the face.

The Green tea from this sleeping pack comes from the pure Jeju Island.
Jeju Island is known as the 'God of Islands' and is located near Korea.

Green tea Benefits

•  Revives Dry skin
• Revives Stressed skin
• Supplying moisture

On the package, it says that: With its eco-friendly Jeju green tea moisture and vitamin particles, this sleeping pack creates a dewy and translucent complexion as it quenches your thirsty skin during your sleep

Directions: During your evening skincare routine, apply an appropiate amount and evenly spread over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area, to allow the formula to abosrb into your skin. Go to bed and rinse with water the next morning.

Price: I bought this sleeping pack in an individual store which sell Korean skincare at a cheaper price. It was 110HK dollars which is around £8.41. The pound may change depending on the exchange rate so make sure you check again.

Purchase?: I would not repurchase this product again because I would like to try new sleeping packs

 My skin type: Dry skin to sensitive skin

My thoughts: When I first put this sleeping pack on, it felt slightly sticky and I thought this feeling would stay on my face the whole night, but when I woke up it felt like my skin had absorbed it all, my face felt like I had just applied cream on my face and it wa not like what it felt when I first put on the sleeping mask. I like the smell of this sleeping pack a lot, I thought that this would irritate my skin but actually it did not, the strong smell did not irriate my skin at all. It does take a while to pop the beads in the sleeping mask and I would much prefer a gel like substance that does not take a while to apply. I do not feel the sleeping pack hydrates my skin that much because when I apply Bb cream, I still get dry patches on part of my face, it is due to my dry skin.

Pros:

• I love the smell
• A lot of product, could last up to two years.
• Love the simple packaging

Cons:

• Slightly hydrating
• Slightly sticky

I have already tried their I Need You mask line and was impressed, and so I held very high expectations for this Mango mask.

This Mango mask contains mango extract (Mangifera Indica (Mango)Fruit Extract) which is know for its variety of vitamins and fiber, helping to provide firm and healthy skin with its sweet and gentle touch.

Directions:

1. Apply toner to kin after cleansing
2. Remove mask from pouch and apply to face, placing mask to fit eye and lip area
3. Remove mask after 15-20 minutes and lightly message the remaining solution into skin with hands

Ingredients:
Sorry this is blurry, I hope you can see what ingredients are in this still!

My thoughts: I expected more from this mask. Maybe ,the mask was not correct for my skin because after using this mask I did not feel that my skin was nourished, it just felt like I had put cream on right after I took the mask off and I had to wash the serum off anyway. Therefore, this did not do anything for my skin. The mask felt slippery, slimey and full of serum in the packet so that was a plus side. I thought the smell of the mask would have a faint mango smell but alas there was not. I do not really have anything else to say about this mask, it was not really special and I am quite disappointed.

Pros:

• Smells nice
• Cheap

Cons:

• Does not benefit the skin

Review: Innifree Vivid Tint Rouge #6

Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge #6

Innisfree is most known for their skincare but I have also heard great things about their makeup as well so I thought I would try it out!

I decided to choose a lip tint because they are easy to apply and since my lips are prone to dryness, a lip tint would be a better alternative to a lipstick.

Description:

Vivid colour

Clear colour

Light and creamy texture

Purpose: This is supposed to a vibrant lip colour on the lips

Directions: Dab the tiniest amount of the product onto the lips and use the applicator to spread the product.

It can also be used by applying lightly in the centre of the lips.

Ingredients: This product contains Camellia Oil and also the products they use are non-animal, non-talc and non benzophenone.

My thoughts: I thought this lip tint would be pigmented because I have already tried their vivid tint rouge in #2, but sadly it was not. The lip tint has a funny taste and I do not really like the feeling of the lip tint on my lips because of the taste. The tint itelf is not pigmented, applying this on gives my lips a more natural vibrant colour of my own lip colour. I like that fact that it gives a shiny finish and the colour looks very natural. I thought this tint was going to give a peachy lip colour but instead it gave a more brighter colour of my own lip colour.

Pros:

• Long lasting
• Easy to apply
• Price is affordable
• Shiny finish

Cons:

• Funny taste
• Not very pigmented
• Does not give much colour

Price: This was around 760 HK dollars which is £5.80 which is affordable

Purchase?: I would not repurchase this product again purely becaue of the smell and taste.

This will be my first Innisfree cosmetic product review for you guys!!!

Innisfree is most known for their skincare but I have also heard great things about their makeup as well so I thought I would try it out!

I decided to choose a lip tint because they are easy to apply and since my lips are prone to dryness, a lip tint would be a better alternative to a lipstick.

My thoughts: I am very impressed with this product because of the pigmentation. A dab of this product can cover my entire lip. I normally find that a bright lip colour like this is too much for an everyday ideal look, therefore I usually lightly dab the tiniest amount on the centre of my lips and gradually spread the product evenly for a more natural look. However, I do find that the tint drys very quickly so I strongly advise to spread out the product quickly and also if you do not want your fingers to stain, use a makeup sponge or a lip brush to spread out the product. I like the fact that this lip tint gives a slightly matte finish and does not dry the lips out which is vital for my lips.

Pros:

• Easy to apply
• Price is affordable
• Very pigmented

Cons:

• Hard to take off
• Can stain the lips and fingers

Review: Lee Stafford Lightening Spray

Lee Stafford Lightening Spray

Lee Stafford is a famous celebrity hairdresser that opened up his first hairdressers near my home town. It became so successful that a second one opened in London. Soon after that, he lauched his own hair products in 2001, his products are available in Boots.

Ingredients:

Directions: Spray into towel dried hair, comb through and blow dry.

My thoughts: My hair was instantly a tiny bit lighter when I used it for the first time which is impressive. I found that whilst I was blow drying my hair, white specs would appear on the palm of my hand where I may have previously sprayed by accident. This only happened when heat was applied. It did hurt a little so be careful not to spray on the hands. My hair felt dry after blow drying my hair, I guess that is from the hydrogen peroxide in the product. I found that the product did the job and I will definitely continue using this product until the get the desired hair colour.

Cost: This is £7.99 at Boots.

Cons:

• Drying

Pros:

• Reasonable price
• Does lighten the hair, my hair turned from dark brown to brown in just 2-3 times I've used this!

Repurchase?: YES DEFINITELY!!

Review: Innisfree Eyebrow Powder Kit #2

Innisfree Eyebrow Powder Kit #2

Decription: A light brown matte colour and a dark greyish matte colour. The light colour to be used at the front bit of the eyebrows and the dark colour to be used at the tip of the eyebrow. This product creates a natural brow.

How to use: Apply on the brow with the brush available


Cost: This cost exactly 100 HK dollars in the Innisfree shop  in Mong Kok which is around £7.70 which is quite a reasonable price considering it is a brow powder kit and not just a pencil.

My thoughts: At first I did not really like the product because I did not think the brush was very good. But now I have gathered the brush is designed in a way that when I apply the powder on, it looks completely natural. I find the brush can collect a lot of product which is good if I want to apply it on heavily to make my brows lighter. The thing I do not like about this is the packaging, it looks a tiny bit tacky and it feels like the the kits is made out of cheap material, but apart from that, nothing else. I grew to really like the product though, the powder lasts for around five hours which is quite good and it is great for a trip out to town or something, it stays on for quite a long time. I like the powder because the finish is very natural, the brush actually helps with the application of the powder onto the brow. The kit is very small and it is handy to put in your handbag and easy to use too. I can also use the product to contour my nose too which is very good. I am a very happy bunny and will purchase this again if I have the chance to.

Pros:

• Brush is good even though it is cheap material
• Can create own brow colour
